Gerzy wasted no time following directions—she hopped up on the bench, flopped her paws over the edge, and gave me the biggest, goofiest grin. A gentle and lovable Bernese Mountain Dog, Gerzy was full of charm and surprise, offering one ridiculously adorable pose after another.

We spent our session at Jericho Beach, one of my favorite places for dog photography. The light through the trees was gorgeous, and we took full advantage of the distant city skyline and shimmering bay. We wrapped the evening with a quiet walk to the beach and a silhouette shot as the sun began to dip.

Gerzy’s doting mom Leslie and her sweet human sister Tori were such a joy to work with. It was the kind of session that makes you smile the whole way home.
