Lulu the Morkiepoo: Where Chaos Met Delight
Some dogs show up ready for their close-up and some show up ready to steal the show. Lulu, a spirited little Morkiepoo with a face built for fan clubs, brought both.
Lulu, her Mom Jennifer, her mom (Lulu’s grandma) and I kicked things off on the grass, where Lulu turned on the puppy dog eyes full blast.
My camera loved her—and so did the treat dispenser (a.k.a. me). Sit was more of a suggestion than a plan, but when you’re this cute, it’s entirely optional.
Next up: the boardwalk. She perched sweetly in front of a bloom of purple irises, with trees and pond behind her, a perfect spring scene.
Then we headed to a nearby rock, where Lulu struck a pose like a seasoned model. After that, she flopped happily in a patch of baby daisies.
We found one last bloom-filled stop near the seawall path—just a little cluster of wildflowers tucked back from the bustle. Lulu paused there, ears perked, as if taking it all in before her grand finale.
Then… the leash came off.
We figured a little off-leash sprint might be fun. What we got was chaotic joy in circular form. Lulu launched into epic zoomies—running wild in perfect loops, joyful laps that defied direction and gravity. By the time we corralled her, we all agreed off-leash time was officially over. No regrets. The laughs were worth it.
We wrapped at the end of the boardwalk as the sun softened, Lulu calm and content after her whirlwind performance.
It was a session where chaos met delight and Lulu wore both beautifully.
