“a big stick awesome… let me grab that…got it… dropped it… got it… dropped it… got it…” – Malcolm

Malcolm, a friendly, energetic Rottweiler, had a serious love affair with sticks—especially ones far too big for any reasonable dog to carry. He never quite managed to lift the giant log his dad had moved, but watching him try was absolutely hysterical. His ocean romping? Equally unmissable.

Jericho Beach was the perfect playground for a spirited, water-loving pup like Malcolm. Between beach zoomies and striking a few dashing poses, he gave me plenty of photo gold.

After exploring the woods and splashing down the shoreline, we watched the sun dip behind the mountains—just in time for a striking silhouette with a sky full of drama.

It was a joy spending the evening with Malcolm and his proud humans, Rebecca and Danny. Big smiles all around.
